Toft Church, Knutsford

Six pairs of aisle windows and tracery roses were designed to commemorate the millennium.

English mouth-blown antique glass along with Polish antique glass was used to create the panels.

1 Birth.  This window uses a triangular design depicting the Holy Trinity.  The circle around the bottom left star indicates Joseph and Mary and their protective nature in the face of Herod’s search, this is noted by the spotlight / ray of light from the heavens.  The three lines of colour to the right are the Magi sent by Herod.

2 Crucifiction. The window is designed on a triangle to keep the idea of the Holy Trinity.  The three crosses are Christ and the two robbers.
